Running the choir is extremely expensive. We employ a Musical Director and an accompanist; we rent a rehearsal space; we hire venues, soloists and orchestral players for concerts. As well as income from members' subscriptions and ticket sales, we rely on extra fundraising to cover our outgoings and maintain our high musical standards.
